The Bee Cause
Our HIVE didn’t get its name from bees!
Our name is an acronym for the opportunity areas we address:
Habilitation, Information, Vocation & Education
​
We do think bees are a pretty good metaphor for what we do, though! Bees are always busy, working for the good of their world!
​
As such, HIVE members can participate in Bee Cause advocacy, a program in which members learn skills needed to advocate for bees and will visit schools and other organizations to share their knowledge! They will also learn skills and have opportunities to advocate for themselves!
